Classes in DFW
My primary Childbirth Course is offered both in-person and virtually. The course is 8 weeks long, meeting once per week for 2 hours, and covers the following:
Exercise and nutrition
Building your birth team
Relaxation practices and techniques
Preparing for the unexpected
Breastfeeding and newborn care
Most families that take this class are hoping for an unmedicated birth, so we equip women and their coaches with comfort measures, knowledge of the labor process, and questions to ask their providers.
Upcoming VIRTUAL Class: April 6-May 25, 2026 | 6-8pm
Fee: $300
Weekend Intensive
If your due date is coming up or all of the classes available to you go beyond your due date and you need to take a class now, I offer weekend intensive classes. These classes are private and catered to each individual couple, while also having the benefit of being completely comprehensive.
Weekend intensives are set up as needed on Saturdays from 9am-6pm and includes lunch. The cost of a weekend intensive is $600 for the private class, materials, and lunch.
Refresher Course
If you have already taken a childbirth class for a previous labor, but want to be refreshed on what you may already know (or new information!), this is the right class for you. I offer 2-hour refresher courses that can be either virtual or in-person.
Refresher Classes are set up as needed on weekdays from 6pm-8pm and includes a workbook. The cost of a refresher class is $250 for the private class and materials.
